Nostalgia

Post by MarkyB »

I say chaps and chapesses there are some jolly interesting films to be found here:http://www.britishpathe.com/results.php ... rris+minor
3 pages and some different results if you search on Morris 1000.

I particularly like this one;http://www.britishpathe.com/record.php?id=72459
What is the car being tested over rough roads that has a Minor shell but different bonnet and front wings?

Can anyone spot their own car? Quite a few are on film here.

Isn't it a Morris Oxford?

Not sure what the other one was that was subject to 'safari conditions' - I think it's a Wolseley, but a Wolseley what?

Did someone say health and safety? Never heard of it.

I like this one too; http://www.britishpathe.com/record.php?id=78552

Notice how many times they overtake VWs, subliminal advertising that is.
