Hi Guys,
I've got a serious problem with my 1098cc flywheel I hoped to have drilled to fit the 1275cc A+ Ital crank.
I've had it drilled, however, the "specialist" who drilled it has put the holes in the wrong places. Theoretically, the holes should be on a hexagonal pattern, but no matter how I try, I cannot get the holes to line up.
Is it possible to have the flywheel centre machined out and replaced with a correctly drilled replacement centre?
Regards
John

Sounds very unlikely to succeed! Your best move would be an ad in the wanted section for another flywheel, and find another "expert" machinist! Someone may even have a ready-drilled one to dispose of!
Edit: Just noticed your ad in wanted section

Two of the original holes are fine - you only need to drill 4 more. Your 'expert' sounds like a real liability! Even I managed to do this - at home -with a leccy drill. It's hardly rocket science. Another flywheel will be the best way forward.......
