Awsworth Community Association Presents.

Party on the Rec Saturday 3rd July 2010.

Dear Sirs,

I am writing on behalf of Awsworth community Association to invite your club to take part in what in now becoming one of the most exciting family events on the East Midlands calendar.
This is now our 4th year putting on this most exciting event for all the family. This year we have acquired the use of the local famer’s field enabling us to offer car clubs and others the opportunity to come along with your vehicles and put on a club display.

In doing this you will be able to display your cars and club and have facilities to camp at the rear of your display, There will be toilets available and also running water available in a central location. All major supermarkets for supplies etc are only less than 10 mins away.
Camping will be available from early Friday till around noon on the Sunday

Or you can simply turn up on the day for £3.00


The cost to take part in this event will be £10.00 per unit.
What do you get for your £10.00 I hear you ask…..Well you are able to camp all weekend and will be supplied with wrist bands for all the family up to 4 persons this will give you access to Friday nights entertainment for our guest campers in the Village Hall.

Full access to Saturday’s main event which starts at 11.00am till 11.00pm this includes a fly past by the Battle of Britain Queens Flight of the RAF (TBC)
Take your cool boxes with liquid refreshment (No Glass) and sit in front of the main stage and watch from late afternoon our feast of live bands throughout the evening it really is something not to be missed. With a grand finale of spectacular fireworks to celebrate the end of a fantastic weekend.

If you and your group feel you could put a tug ‘o’ war team together there is a cash prize on offer for the runner up and of course a trophy and cash prize for the winning team.

There will be 24 hr security and many POTR stewards on hand (In Red T Shirts) if you have any problems all we ask is that you display your public liability insurance on your stand if we have enough interest we may put on a trophy for the best club stand.
