And it should be a blue warning - the red is for the battery charging! Your warning bulbs have been put in the wrong holes!!

There was a changeover with the facelift on warning light colours - Both my 60's have a red main beam warning at the top of the speedo with orange oil & red ign to the sides

Ohhh! Didn't know that! How confusing - I thought it was ALWAYS blue - standard colour for high beam - even today.

Yes, very confusing - I have even seen some with green lights in for the oil warning..... :roll:

Yes - I think I have seen that on Minors - or maybe Minis.

good to know that the red light is correct , I hope to have a go at checking the wiring tomorrow if I have time after seeing my best bubbie the dentist ! :oops:
