Adjusted the clutch slightly on my car today and now the ignition light has started coming on when I dip the clutch.
So you think it is anything to worry about?

Up the idle speed a bit although it sounds like the clutch may be dragging now or the thrust bearings on the crank worn....

You have certainly increased the loading on the crank - in fact - probably you are overtravelling the clutch. Why did you adjust the clutch up so far ? I would take it back a bit! Nothing to do with thrust washers 'wearing' - but yes - they have to react against the load you apply on the clutch - and so they are indeed the source of the increased drag. But root cause is too much force on the clutch! In any case - you should minimise time spent 'on the clutch' - just dip it - select gear and move off! Never EVER sit with foot on clutch - always pop into neutral and lift the clutch if stopped.

When you press the clutch pedal you will apply a slight load to the clutch which may slow the engine a little. Just increase the tickover speed slightly. I would be more concerned if it was the oil pressure light that was flickering. It is always worth checking that the ignition and oil lights are in the correct positions.
