I have just flipped through MM, also the website. Cannot see any contact details for the FBHVC Liason officer.

Perhaps a proper Contact Us section with links to email addresses for the various officers would be useful, rather than just the single club postal address?

Also dates/venues of committee meeting and FBHVC meetings in the Diary of Events might be useful to some people.

also for some of the more southerly guys and gals that want to attend
Totally agree, with you there then it would mean taking the nationwide club to the nationwide fan base.

would not tavel to derby for one day to far, and to stay overnight makes it very expensive

so every year its the same faces at the agm then

how does this reflect on the general club members

So we need a rotating AGM.

Derby one year, then Bristol, then Newcastle, then London, then Glasgow/Edinburgh, then start back at Derby.

(I've thought for a long time that it would do UK democracy no harm if Parliament held sessions away from Westminster.)

The AGM was held in Guildford on one occasion. I can't remember it being very well attended. Derby is fairly central, they just need to do something about the buffet. I believe reduced rates are available, (I did not say cheap), for those wishing to stay overnight.
However the vast majority of the membership is content to read the magazine, polish their Morris Minor and attend a few rallies during the summer. It is left to the few activists, branch reps etc. to attend the AGMs.
I am not sure what percentage of the membership is required to form a quorum.
