I need to take the bonnet of my green saloon and though i've managed to loosen the hard to get a bonnet hinge nuts and brace, I can't figure how to remove the windscreen washer bolted to the bonnet. I've loosed the nut and screw holding it on but all it does is turn and does'nt come off.
I need to get this off so I can remove the bonnet fully. Any suggestions ?

I think that option is looking more and more likely. Just how would i reconnect it again when i refit the bonnet to make sure the water spray works ?

Even if it was the jets, they're still not on the bonnet, they normally go on the scuttle. Perhaps I'm not understanding something, but I would like to "see" the problem in order to offer good advice.
He says "bolted" not "bottle". My jets are on the bonnet too, but I agree a picture would help as once the nuts are off they should just push through....

Yeah it the jets bolted to the bonnet that are the problem and won't detach. Its just started to snow here so it'll be a while before I get a picture up of this and the door problem up.

Do you really need to remove the bonnet. Can you undo the bonnet stay, fix a rope to the bonnet lock, pull it vertical and tie it to the back bumper.
Otherwise cut the plastic pipe, they usually go brittle and are easy enough to replace
Unfortunatly yes. The bonnet, as well as the wings, on the green saloon have terrible paintwork. The previous owner apparantly painted it in any green paint when she saw rust so the whole thing needs to be stripped, sanded, primed and resprayed.

Try warming the hoses with a rag soaked in very hot water this should soften them enough to pull off easily. PVC gets very soft at 60 deg C. and you shouldnt need to get them any hotter.
If youre very careful you can use a blowlamp to heat it up. Just waft the blowlamp backwards and forwards over the hose connection point until it just pulls off. I sometimes use a cigarette lighter.
When you replace the bonnet do not try to do it by yourself. Cover the wings with blankets and use two people to lift and hold it in place whilst the hinges are bolted on and adjusted.
