Not much to report at the moment, so this is just the intro. Bought for £350 from a one owner deceased estate. Not run for a number of years but I was able to get an MOT on it (that was last April) It very soon became apparent that the wood was well past its best but the main structure of the car is solid and only very minimal welding is required. I have junked the original 948 engine and box and he now has a 1275 engine on a 1098 box. Wolseley front brakes and a 3.9 diff. I have accumulated parts over the past few months which are safely stored so the time has come now to start and strip the wood off (the bit I am not looking forward to as I have no previous personnal experience of this).
Some pics of him (Jack) as is now and I'll update as I go along. I am guessing though that progress will be slow as time and funds allow. I have my other Traveller on the road so this is a fun project rather than a nessesity one

Thanks both - I'm sure I will unearth some hidden horrors - esp the sills etc All part of the fun I guess. Stripping comes next so I'll post more pics after that....

When you take the load bay wood panels out try if possible to get the machine screws out in one piece as they are a BA thread and very hard to come by, although I have been told a metric size will fit if the encapsulated nuts are re-tapped although I haven't tried it.
