Moggie '65 Indicator - self cancel??
It's probably a daft question, but should my indicator self cancel? I don't want to mess around getting the steering wheel off etc. and then find it's not supposed to cancel anyway.
Thanks.
Dave
Thanks.

You will find a peg that should locate in the indicator switch bracket and into the column. Make sure this is located and the indicators will self cancel. I'll try and find a pic later but it is obvious (if a little fiddly) once you have everything apart....

I'll give it a go and, as you say, it'll probably all drop into place once the nut etc. is off. (Unlike most of the nuts I take off which tend to drop somewhere inaccessible.) I also remember the old addage about the biggest problem with a car is the nut behind the wheel.......Anyway I expect I'll wait until the warmer weather now - everything is easier I find when you can actually feel your fingers.
Thanks for you help.
Thanks for you help.
