HELP>> can you good folk give me the names of insurance comps. for my moggy. it has 2lt twincam disc brakes, 5speed box. otherwise looks standard. been quoted from £220- £425. which is bloody OTT :roll: :roll: :roll:

£220 doesn't seem to bad for a heavily modified car and you have left the important bit out age makes a difference, it might be worth while trying a specialist that deals with hot rods perhaps.

I think Kevin meant your age not the cars. I was speaking to a block with a 1600 fiat twin cam conversion and on limited mileage policy (6000miles a year) he was £110pa and he would be in his 30's I think.

I have changed the title slightly so hopefully plastic orange (pete) will pick it up as he knows of good insureres for the higher performance cars.

I would have thought that £220 for unlimited mileage on a 2 litre Mog is reasonable. you don't say whether it was fully comp or TPF&T?

just got full comp insurance £140 . 3000 miles on classic policy. with adrian flux yippee :D :D :D :D

yeah i went with adrian flux and was quoted £120 fully comp. :lol:

WHOOPS my premium has now got even cheaper £100. must be their christmas spirit( or to much of it) :D :D :D
