Where to get tyres in the US?
Does anyone know where to get a proper set of tyres in the United States? Apparently the 145x14 Camac tires that were most widely available here have been discontinued. Any suggestion would be most appreciated.

Thanks for the information - obviously I'd prefer 145x14 but I am fairly sure that size is no longer available in the US, as I haven't been able to locate any in nearly 3 weeks of searching.
Cocker Tire specializes in tires for vintage and classic vehicles and have quite a good reputation over here. The 155x14 tires are the Firestone F560 series which look to have quite a nice tread pattern:

Available here for $90 or about £55 each. I'll be picking up a full set of 5, so no mixing sizes here.
cross-ply tires are also still available in the correct size, but at this point I think I'm better off with 155x14 radials!
