She left it at a friend's house for a number of reasons and we decided to tow it home. One of those reasons was that the brakes felt too weak for either of our comfort levels, and the front end seemed to have a lot of sway in it. She'll completely tear the whole brake system apart and rebuild it over the winter, and maybe make some improvements. I built a temporary exhaust system that worked, but it needs to be rebuilt properly. The wiring is a nightmare. It's amazing the car hadn't caught on fire before we found some of the problems. The fuel pump may be on its last leg, and the front tires seem to be losing pressure (maybe causing the sway?). The main reason was the brakes though. Free towing = good solution!

Like I said, I'm going to have a lot of questions in the coming months when we start really getting our hands dirty. Thanks for all the help so far! She loves the car.
