Silicone bottom hose

Post by winger300 »

Does anyone know where I can get a silicone bottom hose (without heater take off) for my Series II?

The kevlar re-inforced piece I fitted only a year ago is cracked, and looks ready to split at any moment.

Just use a normal rubber hose - these 'silicone' hoses are not without their problems too! A good rubber hose wil;l give many years of service - you have been caught out already with what was no doubt an expensive 'kevlar' hose - learn the lesson!

are the plain rubber ones from suppliers better than the kevlar reinforced?
