Thanks to the White Knight of Wiltshire!

Post by webbnuts »

Just a long shot but should the driver of a white Traveller from Tisbury, Wiltshire be reading this, I would like to thank him for stopping and assisting with Blackie during his daily breakdown today!

I couldn't believe it when the very next car to come round the corner was another Morris!

The guy said he works in the Navy - If anyone may know who is, please pass on my thanks!

I had just worked out the cause of the problem when he arrived, but it was nice to have some moral support! Seems the spring that opens and closes the points was touching the metal body of the dizzy near where the condensor connects to it. Wrapped a load of insulating tape around and seems to be ok then!
