Wooden Boot panels

Post by martylemoo »

Hi,
I am trying to remove the wooden boot panels from my minor, i have removed the rear seat and all the mounting screws but i cannot seem to get it out or see how you would get it out. Any tips would be most welcome.
Thanks
Martyn

Sometimes brute force it required.
You have to push them towards the back seat so they come out of the rear support. on some cars the rear support is deformed so the wood doesn't move enough to come out... hence the brute force.

Make sure you've got all the screws out - sometimes there are one to two that are a different type and you might not notice them... Then, just give it a right royal heave. It's only plywood, so is easily replaced if you happen to break it.
