Woburn Rally

Post by pao7psb »

I understand there is a classic rally in the grounds of Woburn Abbey on the 16th August - this was mentioned to me by a chap with a beautiful Trafalgar Blue convertible at Hatfield, but he wasn't a "Moggie-blogger" so isn't on this forum.

Anyone know anything about this rally, planning on going or been to a previous one? Not mentioned on the official Woburn website but I have found this link.

Cheers,

Paul.

I have been previously, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I think that the last time I went there were around 1,500 vehicles of all shapes and sizes. Something for everyone. Originally it used to be combined with a Tiger Moth fly in.

I'd like to go. Will little Emily be going?

Been going to this Rally for a number of years, it used to coincide with the Tiger Moth Rally and was a great day out. Like most it seems to be gradually going downhill and the autojumble is not as good as it was.
Having said that, there is no need to book, it costs £5 most of which is donated to Charity, and you do get a nice cast brass plaque

Hmmmm, this is looking like a winner, and family-friendly too (park for the nipper, house for the missus, 1500 classics for me :D ). Thanks for the feedback all.
