Engines, again

Post by Ondergard »

I've been listening very carefully to people's advice, comments, etc, suggesting that a "Spridegt" engine would be better as a conversion.

Do I presume from that that people mean a 1275cc engine, bearing in mind that there are also 1098cc Spridget engines around?

What would be the advantage of putting a 1098cc Spridget in, as opposed to the 1098cc I have already? Or am (once again) just being thick?

No performance advantage of a 1098 spridget lump, however the "10CC" engines have larger bearings and theoretically should be able to take a higher state of tune
