hi everyone
just to keep my self busy this holiday i dicided to chop two minors in half and stick the two fronts end to end and this is the out come (please note that this wasnt done in reality as i wouldnt be able to forgive myself)

It was done for real! And it was road legal, quite disconcerting if travelling behind it I would imagine.
I wonder if it still survives?

Saw a display team at a rally once that featured two half-Minis back to back. Both ends had working engines, controls, and drivers. They spent a while doing fancy four wheel steering manoeuvres etc. in both directions. Near the end of their act they started doing a 'tug of war'. Lots of revs, wheel spin, etc. then they let off a flashbang and released a bolt that held the two halves together, so it appeared to break in two and they could both drive around the field independently. :D
