Alternative fixings?

Anyone know of better fixings for badges. Pictures show the fixing for the Minor 1000 badge on rear of traveller. (it's not actually fixed on sideways!)<br>

Double sided foam tape, as used for fixing interior mirrors? I have used it for fixing a rear badge on my Cavalier - worked fine!
I got a small roll of it from our local auto parts shop.

By sticking the foam tape under the badge? Wouldn't that show through the lettering?
