Started to re-fit the front suspension on Molly last night and came to realise that the fulcrum pin is not symetrical, the thread length being longer on one side.
It will possibly become embarecingly obvious which way round to fit it tonight, but any advance information would be appreciated.
The Traveller that we pulled out of the hedge yielded a pair of good assemblies, with the addition of the later, larger front brakes.
The main bearing was shot on one of them, I assume that the hub assembly I removed from the old assembly will be ok to use on this?

The rear half of the arm is made of thicker metal than the front one.britab1967 wrote:Started to re-fit the front suspension on Molly last night and came to realise that the fulcrum pin is not symetrical, the thread length being longer on one side.
I can't see why not.The Traveller that we pulled out of the hedge yielded a pair of good assemblies, with the addition of the later, larger front brakes.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.
