Radiator ID plate

Post by yellowpinky »

I have recently aquired a replica "Morris Motors Ltd Radaitor Branch" ID plate. I am looking a good idea of which numbers to stamp on it before fitting it to my tall tank radiator?? If your radiator has one of these what number does it say on yours?
Image
On mine, underneath the address are two boxes, in the left one is the number 44567, and in the right hand box is 33959.
Mine is the original rad in my 52 Series MM
Hope this helps!

Be careful if you stamp it. It'll look better if you have it engraved - I found a little man near me who did my chassis plate for a fiver.

This message board is like a family - you can't choose the other members!! But remember engine oil is thicker than water.

Might look better engraved, but mine is stamped and not very well either! (looks like it was done while moving down the production line!)
