Hi,hope someone can help ref the above.
I have aquired an engine and i would like to know what vehicle it originated in and the type.
The number on the block is 12V 966ELOO1784. It has had a mechanical fuel pump fitted,A "Y" clamp to hold the dizzy in and the cannister type oil filter is located on the top left hand side of the block at the back.
Any info would be greatfully welcomed. Keith

Sounds like a 1275 A+ engine from a Morris Ital from your description but i'm afraid the numbers mean nothing to me!

Thanks for your response gentlemen,i'm a happier man now.
Just one more query. I've been told that all A+ 1275 are actually 1293cc. Is this correct ?
