Post by PASSAT50 »

Hi there - any help or advice appreciated on using dum dum filler to fill cracks between traveller wooden frame and metalwork. Cheers - Dave

I made a small "sausage", laid it across the gap and pushed in with the flat edge of a flat screwdriver. Keep adding ontil proud and eneven, then cut excess off with a putty knife. Might be wrong, but that is what we did.

It is of course supposed to be installed between the timber and the metal part during assembly - and the excess then squeezes out as the parts are tightened together.
