I agree with Commercialman - I suspect that the owner (or a potential buyer) has read this thread, seen the comments suggesting it's a bargain and realised that it's under priced. Either someone else has made him a better offer or it will probably be appearing on E-Bay very soon

I wouldn't say it was a bargain price - just realistic. Folk seem to be very greedy these days. I only had 3 potential buyers for Bessie - and it was well underpriced. I'd guess, he'll come round to the original price sometime soon.

UPDATE
The car has now been officially withdrawn from sale on the only website it was advertised on - Classic Cars For Sale .co.uk - so I guess he meant what he said about the scrappage.
