Pedals and shaft.

Post by jonali »

Hi Guys,

My car had been stripped of pedals when i adopted it. Probably to scavenge a pedal for a tractor would be my guess as I have only two pedals and I presume the standard three pedal system is required

Had a look round the local scrapyards but no joy.

So can anyone maybe come up with a drg of the pedal shaft ? Gonna get one machined but not sure what the fixing method should be on either end. Would a blind tapped hole in the end with a bolt in do? or was it something fancy.

Regards

Jon

The clutch pedal is welded onto the end of the pedal shaft, you can buy them new, e.g.:

The brake pedal fits onto the same shaft. Sorry, can't find a picture of one.
