Trafficators wiring

Post by markattard »

I am in the process of installing a new wiring loom for my '53 series II. The difficulty arises from where to pass the wiring for the trafficators which are situated just adjacent to each door (mine being a two door..). Is it from the boot or underneath the carpet from the dash... or from somewhere else? (overhead mabe...

The loom comes from under the car and into the boot. It splits inside the back of the boot. The right indicator wire runs forward over the wheel arch to the trafficators using the tags around the wheel arch to secure it, the left wire passes to the left side of the boot etc.
Lay the wiring loom out on the ground (or sitting room carpet) and work out which bits go where.
