Newbie saying hello.

Post by Ian46 »

Hi there,
I have just recently re-joined the MMOC after a huge absence. My original membership number was well before Sir Alec's (Issigonis not Fergusson).

I have purchased the '54 Convertible shown off fleabay sometime ago and want to give it a good going over. The trouble is whilst I have gas and spot welding equipment I still don't have the spare time that will be needed. (Is it just me or do other people find that you appear to work harder the older you get?)

Can anyone out there point me in the direction of a good body repairer, preferably with a love for the mark in the Sheffield area, or Yorkshire, or Birmingham to Newcastle region?

If I can get the shell 'right' then I should be ok for the rest.

Please let me know.

Regards Ian
Image
Welcome aboard Ian looks like you have a little work to be getting on with.
No its not just you I also feel that the older you get the harder you work, or maybe its just that as the energy reserves are lower the jobs seem to take much longer.................
Cheers
