I'd like to thank everyone that has answered this request, but there still seems to be a lot that haven't. If I am to get this organised, sooner would be better than later  Thanks.

I am now in the process of organising this event in line with the number of entrant confirmations I have received. If you have not re-applied since my computer crash (over Christmas) as requested, and want to take part, please send me either a PM or an email. If you do not do this within the next week, there is a strong possibility that you will be left out. Sorry.

Sorry guys, as there are so few 'definites' for this years LEO, and as discounts etc are normally based on numbers, apart from all the work involved in organisiing this run, I honestly don't think it is viable.

In view of this I am unfortunately going to have to call it off for this year, and put all my efforts into MOT-UK, which is already being very well supported.

Hopeully LEO will return next year.

Cancelled before I'd even read the thread! That'll teach me ;-)
I had great plans to get the Suntor camper van ready for it.

I might have to tag an Orkney visit onto the JOGLE this year then. Would be a shame not to get there somehow.

where to break down next?
2013... managed to seize my 1275 just by driving it round the block :(

Yes, sorry Ray no-one was responding and so for just two cars to take part just wasn't viable, and as you know organising it also takes time.

I too wanted it to go ahead, and had planned to make it even better than last year. Oh well

Perhaps you could bring the Suntor camper on MOT-UK, there's going to be quite a few there. And Onne's bringing his DAF.

Wasn't it?????

Seriously though, if you are to arrange accommodation, ferries, visits, discounted prices etc, it all takes time, and without definite numbers it just can't be done.

However I intend to do it next year, so get your names down now!!!!

(I can hear it already , " Oh that's a long way off yet, plenty of time " )

You can put our names down for the 2010 LEO.

:o 2010? good grief! I remember reading the book when I was little and thinking we'd all be driving Jetson type cars in 2010...

That's beyond a long way off!!
At the moment my plans in life extend only as far as March 1st 2009 (The day I'm back from Cuba)
if you are to arrange accommodation, ferries, visits, discounted prices etc, it all takes time, and without definite numbers it just can't be done.
A visit schedule and a ferry discount would be enough for me...

but anyway I need to get back to ordering more wedding stuff, sending additional invites, rebuilding my house, redundancy fun and games at work :( and meetings with social services to top it off, etc...

Still getting regular calls about taking part, two in the last two days. Oh well, maybe next year if people let me know earlier.
