Right, this weekend. Work cocked up and I didn't end up working on Saturday
However, I have a large cheque in my account which still hasn't cleared. One of the cats got knocked down by a car last night and a trip to an all nights vet in Winchester at 1 in the morning and a £380.00 bill just for the priveledge of him being kept in. I was doing 95 up the M3 as he was going into shock - thank god I didn't get nicked.
Didn't get to bed till about 2.30 and had to collect the little guy at 9 this morning and take him to his normal vets, who gave him a proper look over - he's destroyed one of the nerves in his jaw, burst a major blood vessel and ripped a good chunk of skin off his chin too. He was in surgery for about 4 hours. He is now safely at home & high as a kite on painkillers but he'll really really really really feel it in the morning
on picking him up, i couldn't get the car door closed - the ruddy lock in the door had latched - i had to close the door as far as possible, wind down the windows and wrap gaffer tape around the b post to keep the door closed. Got home and pretty much had to demolish the fiesta door to fix it.
So yeah, one of those weekends
