PER 659

Post by Bagpuss_Emily »

I am looking for my husband's (Bagpuss) first car/love. Her name was Emily and she was a 1956 Series 2 Morris Minor, colour Clarendon Grey. He sold her in 1986/7 to a young man in the Mundford area of Norfolk when we got married as she wasn't practical for the daily commute to work. Needless to say, he's regretted it ever since.

According to DVLA records (thanks WPR678B and Dan Harris for the DVLA information & advice) we know that Emily's tax ran out in December 2007 but she hasn't been declared off the road yet.

If you know of her whereabouts please get in touch, even if she's not for sale, Bagpuss would love to see her.

Thanks

It's not insured either. It could be sitting in someone's garage somewhere, although you would think they would declare it SORN. Having said that, I've just bought a Traveller which has been off the road since 2005 and last declared SORN on 2007, so there's still hope for your old Minor.
