I'm getting the hang of it now, went out this morning and didn't stall once! And even managed a 3-point turn.
The next manoeuvre I have to work on is reversing down the driveway. It's quite long and a squeeze between two brick walls.
But if my dad can do it in his X5 then I can do it in a minor!

Nah it's ok, just a bit awkward when it's the first time you've ever driven the car and there are 5 other cars there to try and avoid! I'm just about ok with it now, providing I remember the fact my minor has a towbar sticking out of the back!

What a coincidence. I've just replaced my other car with one of the same with the addition of a towbar. Space on the driveway is limited and if I don't remember it's there I'm going to put a hole in the door of Albert's 'house'.
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.
I have to back my car up to a low wall with decorative upright stones on top (Like the wall behind Sidney in my sig pic, but much lower), they are very easy to knock off!. It's now missing a couple of the top stones as my dad and I have both managed to knock them off with the towbar! Good job we're planning to demolish the wall in the summer!
