Fuel sender unit

Post by FrankM83 »

Hi all well today I brought the van back from the sprayer's as it was there to spray the cargo area, eventually it came back still not sprayed!! but that's another story,

the Morris had been standing for 3 months in my sprayer's garage when I left the garage, I left driving the guage was marking quarter full, but then I went for a spin and the guage went to full and it's staying on full! I'm sure the tank is not full!!! what's wrong??

the sender unit is brand new btw! and worked fine for the last 9 months

Sounds like it is shorting out to earth somewhere in the wiring from sender unit to gauge, Frank.....

On a related topic, which way does the swing arm face? I have one of the early senders.
