Prop shaft uv joints
My minor's fitted with an ital 1275 engine and gearbox.Due to damage to the gearbox I'm replacing it with a 1275 midget gearbox. This means the prop shaft will have to be replaced. I have a prop shaft that seems ok but I wondered if it's worth overhauling it before I fit it on the car. How difficult is it to change the uv joints and is there anthing else I ought to be aware of.

If the joints are ok Iwould not change them myself as the prop is an easy item to remove you could do it at a later time if you get wear on the joints if you have never done one it can be a work of art to do it but it can be easy job if you get someone to show you the tricks of fitting them once learnt you will never forget. if you change your profile to show your area someone may live near you and offer to help
