Spotted this on the net. Luckily the driver was not too badly injured but it demonstrates how sturdy the Minor is. If he was in a less solid car it could have been a lot worse. Seems to have been a modified car - spot the twin exhaust.

The minor *is* extremely strong in comparison. However, the down side of that is that while the minor may come off quite well, you won't get the benefit of the crumply-metal of a modern car crumpling and slowing you down a little more gently. And those soft squishy organs inside your body are prone to being thrown around somewhat.
Mind you, that's not stopped me driving the Minor or the DAF.
