Paint for 1968 Traveller

Post by pertwoodpie »

Hello there, long way off the paint job on Dorris but she was I think brown, but she has been resprayed white, but alas its all falling off!
Can any one tell me what colour of white I should paint her, the interior is red, so is it Old English or Snowberry?
And what type of paint and what codes would one need to get the paint?
Thanks

It depends on the year but red seats usually go with Old English white, this was discontinued in Jan 1968. Snowberry is later and has black. Another white is glacier, in the last year of production it came withnavy and red probably whatever was left!.

Re your other posting about wheels, old english white wasnt used for wheels after 1967, though most people seem to have them cream. I do on mine!

The original colour would have been Peat Brown with a Cheroke Red interior, red pin stripe, silver wheels and white front grille.....
