Back in the seventies my parents looked at buying a house in the village.I would say lets all move to that area, it was a bit to busy when I went for the day
Dad was put off by the low ceilings. I'm not sure what he expected

I would have loved to lived in that sort of area - but it was a lot quieter before it became Aidensfield.
As it was they plumped for the industrial lowland 20 miles away.

Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.
the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Well, it's famous in our street

You could pop in for a cuppa.... I am not very far from the bridge.
Here's another bridge I was at yesterday... is it famous? -I'm sure it should be...

Well its Sunday eve, so I'd best decide on a winner. An interesting range of famous places, nice to see 'Aidensfield', got a pic somewhere of my old Panda car parked there on a branch run years ago. Stanford Hall certainly has to be a famous place, at least in this company! The Argyle Factory has been on my list of 'places I should see' for some time now, must make the effort one day, and being a fan of engineering and Meccano it was nice to see such a dramatic shot of Newport Transporter bridge. Didnt know Middlesborough one was no more, so must make Newport the only one in the country now? Hope its preserved...
Anyway as its supposed to be a photo competion, the winner has to be Dru with the night view of the Clifton suspension bridge. Lovely lighting and worthy of a calender really... (Now theres a thought).
Never been really, but passed under the bridge last year when totally lost with Land Rover and trailer in the middle of the night. Was trying to get round the other side of Bristol and was quite surprised to see the illuminated bridge in the distance.
Over to you Dru for the next challange!

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.
*racking brains for idea*
what about 'green shoots' or possibly 'spring'? -there has been a lot of weather around lately... if the idea stinks, I am happy to leave the subject to someone else
Apparently the operation of the Newport bridge has been suspended indefinitely. So you could say that a question mark hangs over it. It would have to be quite high up in the sky though. If you see what I mean.
