Head lining help required

Post by 10852sm »

Hi,

I am replacing my roof lining and have read all the guides.

I am trying to release the clips on the wooden former, do I put the knife/hacksaw blade/steel rule under the wood or above it? If you have done it you will know what I mean!

Thank you

Steve

the 2 spring clips need to be pushed forward a bit as well to clear the lip on the metal surround hope that makes sense

it may also help to put some waxoil inside the inner metal before putting new headlining in

as rot does come from the inside out
