Hi all, has anybody tried a clutch linkage that runs directly from the pedal with a cranked rod instead of the cross shaft assembly?
I'm in the process of fitting a type 9 and now would be a good time to modify the linkage.

Yes you can do it, but will need a stabilizer bar running from the transmission to the front cross member or else it will just pull the motor back instead of actuating the clutch.
