Window Seals

Post by plastic_orange »

Just started to fit a set of window rubbers to Bessie. I started off with the easy one first - side, but it is very slack - and leaking like a sieve. Popular belief is that they don't need sealer (i used it in the past), but a hard knock and I think it would be out again.
When I phoned the supplier - ESM, they said they always use sealer, but I think it will need a fair bit.
Only took me 10 minutes to fit though - any advice before I fit the rest?

Pete

Lots of black sealant Pete. Mine fitted like a p**** in a trouser leg.
