There was a supposed accident in Stornaway, where a group of schoolkids were killed by a truck in the darkness. After this, the government decided to keep changing the time.think it has something to do with children travelling to school in darkness if I remember correctly.
The accident never happened. It was a myth, but the men at the top know best.
