Indicators again

Post by Sidney'61 »

Hi, me again.
Does anyone know what is the minimum power that an indicator should be? As I understand that simply turning the sidelights orange might not be enough as they only have 5W bulbs.

Thanks

I think 21 Watt is the going rate - no idea if there's a legal minimum though!

Certainly 5W is asking for trouble.... :D :D

Hello Andy,

with the conventional flasher relay the rating of the lamps affects the flash rate and are normally 21 watt fron and rear, with 5 watt they would stay on permanently and not flash.
