well all the normal rot spots looking for advice tips as to best way to sort out and hazzards to avoid

I would say dismantle carefully doing one side at a time, leaving the other side as a good reference point. Soak the wing bolts in wd40 several days before you want to remove and put a pair of vice grips over the captive nuts that you can reach and before attempting to turn them. You can make great templates from cereal packets!!

Just realised you have a million, what number is it and do have have much history? I came accros one that was local to NI and barn stored for over 20 years, couldnt buy it though

Measure three times cut once. Make sure structure of the car is maintained so it doesn't twist out of shape while you weld in new steel. Treat any remaining rust on otherwise solid steel with phosphoric acid, then seam seal and prime with zinc primer. Use weld through zinc primer on any overlapped welds before you weld them together.

Be prepared to swear a lot

just a update of what i had done 2 years ago before moving

new floors new inner sils
new spring hangers

a freind of mine had done all the welding but Mrs bought me a welder last year so i havw been geting in some practice
( not as hard as i thought it would be )

will post some more pics as i ge a chance
