Slightly rusty gutter!!

Post by linearaudio »

Wish I'd never investigated that bubbling paintwork above the gutter!!
Image
A quick bit of fabrication work:
Image
And time to get the stick welder warmed up! (dig dig).
Image
Wish me luck! :D

Getting the gutter curve to follow the door profile was the worst bit, closely followed by matching the profile of the roof repair section. No wonder they advise you to walk away from a minor with rusty gutters!!
Just a smidgen of filler needed now!

How did you roll the gutter over LA ? Any chance you could produce a 'how to' on this job ?

Mr Ecosse, I'd be only too glad to, having mucked it up a couple of times before getting the right procedure. But whereabouts would a "how to" go in the forum structure?

A 'mod' would put it in a 'sticky' at the top of the section. If you write it up and ask them nicely - i'm sure they would oblige !
