stuck in the lift

Post by dalebrignall »

we have to get into our office using a lift, there are 2 of them.the lift got stuck . banged on the doors and the lads called the tempoary manager, and they called the royal mail engineers..they said 10mins turned up an hour and a half later with no lift keys, much use as a choclate fire guard.then another bod turrned up and got us out.after 1 hour i was tempted to do 999,but you get charged for non emenginces and my dad was a fireman so i did not want him embarrased.one bloke lost it big time and went straight home in a strop,i will be taking the .... out of him big time tomorrow as he is 15 years older than me.i thaught it was pethetic to be honest.i am made of sterner stuff,i could not believethat 5 people said i should go home because i was in a stressful situation, has the world gone mad.

Could have been worse - at least somebody on the outside knew you were in there! :)

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

Ahh - I used to enjoy 'Christmas Postie' as a student! And today - our local Postie jogs on his round - with that bag thumping aagainst his back it must be uncomfortable! Not to mention all the ebay parcels he brings to my door!
