DUD 693

Post by simmitc »

At one time owned by a Fred and Doreen Cooper. Doreen apparently worked at Cowley and purchased the car direct from the experimental department who had allegedly taken it off the line to develop the highlight version - this seems slightly wrong date wise, but information comes from a relative of the original owner. First registered in 1949 and last taxed in 1979. Believed to be currently SORN, but no other information known at present.

Any information on this vehicle would be gratefully received. Thanks for any help.

It's in a lock up in Stoke, under the ownership of Cam, a stalwart of this board

Brilliant, what an excellent and quick response. The Doreen mentioned above was an aunt (I think) of my dentist and he remembers the car, wondering what happened to it. I shall pass on the news. Thanks.
