Hallo there. I've always felt the world was against me and nothing I did was ever right, now i'm convinced of it, thanks to people like what use this forum. A month ago I bought a 1962 traveller, hoping to spend lots of time and effort on every aspect of its upkeep,

but... The grotty underseal slurry stuff which I eagerly scraped off the underside revealed nothing more than solid, mainly original metal. I turned my attention to the front suspension bushes, but all the nuts bolts etc undid easily. The big nut on the torsion bar eyebolt came off, the eyebolt pushed out of the
uncracked chassis easily and all the new polybushes fitted perfectly. Aah-the floorpans-they were covered in glassfibre-must be covering up something horrid-so like a maniac I attacked it, but no, just someones idea of a joke-the metal was fine underneath. Finally I turned to the rear springs, didn't really need replacing but I was keen to grapple with those rusted ubolts and front pin mounting bolts. Even that was a disappointment-this car could be the one used for the Haynes how-to-do-it joke book. So now I know it
I AM A FAILURE and I want some counselling or at least compensation. I'm instructing my solicitor tomorrow!!
