Anyone know about older coaches please?

Post by simmitc »

Hi

My wife's uncle used to run a coach business around 1957-1968 and for an upcoming significant birthday we're trying to find some pictures of the coaches he used. Unfortunately the details are a little confused, but we are looking for what might be an Austin J4, 12 seater. This was followed by a 20 seater and then a 29 seater in 1964. Would anyone have any idea of what we're really looking for, and where to find pictures. Thanks in advance.

Crusader Coaches, based in Ipswich. They are still in business, now in Clacton-on-Sea, but a completely different operation with no records of the early years.

Hi Simon there may be someone who may be able to help you at the Chiltern Group as they have members with everything.
