starting work
at the moment i am training a young lad,to do my post round .he is going to do the when i am on holiday next week.he was with me for 2 days watching what i did,and how to deal with situations as they occour during the day.he seems totally overalled by it all .its not exactally rocket science,but there are prociedures to adhere to and guidlines and rules to work by.how can i get someone who is not that intrested in whats going on .intrested in working.he has a university head on and is only intrested in getting lashed,i hope he turns up tomorrow morning at 6

Seems a shame that the entire postal service is tarred with the same brush, but I regularly get mail for the wrong houses etc...
I heard that registered and/or recorded mail was 10 times more likely to go missing or be tampered with - as there is a much higher probablility of it having (untraceable) vouchers etc such as with Birthday cards.
On the flip side, a friend of mine is a postie and he aks people where they work, so that if there is anything that won't fit in their letter box, he drops it round to them at work. Can't get much better than that!

why am i not supprised you see all sorts when you are working in the office before you go out on delivery,for some reason the sorting machines give me stuff for scotland they read the post codes and a 5 gets confused with a 9 very often hence i get stuff for scotland,you cant beat the mk1 eye ball

he did dan he seems to have grasped the idea a bit more.next week will be his baptism of fire.judging from his performance i think it will take him about 5 to 6 hours to do the delivery,the preparation will be the thing he finds the hardest.there is more to the job than meets the eye.im going to enjoy my week off.
