Interior light wireing

Hi all,
If you need to replace/amend your interior light wireing there is an easier way than poking wires through for hours. Im presuming that people using this will have a snapped wire as if not then you can tape the new one to the old one and pull it through. Remove one of the glove boxes (drivers side needs the column dropping so it could be easier to use the passenger side A pillar. look in the hole left by the glovebox and see if you can spot a wire coming down the A pillar (looks like a bike brake cable). Loosen this cable as far as you can but clamp some mole grips on the end so you dont loose it.
Once this wire is loose you will be able to lift the headlining out of the channel it sits in near the front and in my case there was enough room to reach in and pass the wire to the interior light manually.

Once its all done then just tighten the wire back up.

If you need more slack then there is another wire fixing point at the side of the rear backrest (fold the seat down to get to it)
