That maroon 2 door is my car! I only got it on Wednesday when I drove it back from North Wales to where I live in Lincolnshire. It was in at the Nottingham Minor centre for rear seat belts to be fitted on Friday so I could take all the family to the National on Sunday. Phil and Kieth mentioned that the BBC would be there. I didn't expect to have a now 'as seen on TV' car though!

I dont agree with "controls not as good as a modern car" the gear change and feel of the pedals is superior on the Minor to most modern cars,
Cheers John - all comments IMHO

I agree, I'm not actually old enough to drive yet but having driven driving school puntos and my minor I find the minor a lot easier to controlchickenjohn wrote:I dont agree with "controls not as good as a modern car" the gear change and feel of the pedals is superior on the Minor to most modern cars,

Apparently Minors were commonly used as driving school cars at one time.Sidney'61 wrote:I agree, I'm not actually old enough to drive yet but having driven driving school puntos and my minor I find the minor a lot easier to controlchickenjohn wrote:I dont agree with "controls not as good as a modern car" the gear change and feel of the pedals is superior on the Minor to most modern cars,

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.
